Agreement to these terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Centward, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Centward. Centward is independently operated from Alberta, Canada.
Who may use Centward
You must be at least 13 years old and meet the minimum age required to consent to digital services where you live. If you are under the age of majority, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these terms for you.
What Centward does
Centward helps you organize savings goals and track information you enter. It is a planning and record-keeping tool—not a bank or financial institution. Centward does not connect to bank accounts, hold or transfer money, verify external balances, or provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You remain responsible for financial decisions and for confirming the accuracy of your records.
Accounts and security
You may use certain local features without an account. An account is required for cloud synchronization and to purchase or restore Centward Plus. You agree to provide accurate information, protect access to your account and device, and promptly notify support if you believe your account has been compromised. Apple, Google, and Firebase may apply their own terms to authentication services.
Your content and local data
You retain ownership of savings goals, entries, and other content you provide. You give Centward permission to process that content only as needed to operate, synchronize, secure, and support the service. You are responsible for maintaining any exports or backups you require. Device loss, app removal, account changes, or technical problems may cause locally stored information to become unavailable.
Centward Plus subscriptions
Centward Plus may be offered as an automatically renewing Monthly or Annual subscription. The price, currency, billing period, and any eligible introductory trial are displayed by the App Store or Google Play before purchase. Trials are available only when offered by the store and when the store determines you are eligible.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel through the applicable store before renewal.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
- Refund requests and billing disputes are handled under the applicable store’s rules.
- Deleting Centward, signing out, or deleting your Centward account does not cancel the store subscription.
Licence and intellectual property
Centward grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for lawful personal purposes, subject to these terms and applicable store rules. Centward’s software, design, branding, and original content are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, disrupt, or misuse Centward except where applicable law expressly permits it.
Acceptable use
You may not use Centward to violate law or another person’s rights; attempt unauthorized access; distribute malicious code; interfere with operation or security; scrape or automate access in a harmful manner; or misrepresent your identity or relationship with Centward.
Third-party services
Centward relies on third-party services such as Apple, Google, Firebase, RevenueCat, and device operating systems. Their services, stores, links, and payment systems are governed by their own terms and may change or become unavailable. Centward is not responsible for third-party services outside its control.
Availability and changes
Centward may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, subject to applicable law and store requirements. The service is provided on an “as available” basis. Although reasonable care is used to operate Centward, uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed.
Account deletion and termination
You may delete your account from Centward settings. Successful deletion removes the authentication account and associated cloud savings data. Savings stored locally remain on that device as disconnected local savings. Store billing records and subscription history are controlled separately by Apple, Google, and subscription providers. Centward may restrict or terminate access for material misuse, legal requirements, security risks, or serious violations of these terms.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Centward is provided without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Centward is not responsible for financial decisions, missed goals, inaccurate user entries, third-party outages, or indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, warranties, or remedies that applicable consumer law does not allow to be excluded or limited.
Apple-specific terms
For the iOS app, Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for Centward. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the terms applicable to your licensed use of the iOS app and may enforce those terms. Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the iOS app. If a required Apple licence term conflicts with these terms, that Apple term controls for the iOS app licence.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections or rights that apply where you live.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as Centward, store requirements, or applicable laws change. The effective date will be revised when an update is published. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
